An Open Letter to You

Dear Anticipated  Supporter,

Live Up Art, a 501 (c)(3), non-profit organization, provides After-School, Evening and Summer Art Programs, in the Midtown Gary area, for children 2 1/2 to 18 years of age. We also offer Adult Programs on an as needed basis. The purpose of Live Up Art is defined in our Mission Statement:

• To provide a creative and safe environment to educate, teach, produce, market, promote, exhibit and counsel individuals in all disciplines of art.
• To provide an educational institution that utilizes an arts based educational format to teach children and youth and provide them a foundation on which to build positive life experiences.
• To develop and nurture an entrepreneurial spirit.
• To promote cultural diversity, teach individuals to respect the differences of other races and cultures and to honor the similarities of all. 
• To teach respect for all human beings regardless of age, race, gender and sexual orientation. 

We emphasize positive youth development in all of our programs.

We recognize the ambition of our goals and understand that we cannot do this alone.  To continue to offer our services at low and, in 90% of the cases, at no cost, we need your help.  As 2005 comes to a close and the spirit of the holidays has past, we ask you to keep Live Up Art  in mind as you consider your charitable giving for the new year. Live Up Art is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization, and your donations are completely tax-deductible.

Donations via PayPal, MasterCard and Visa are accepted through our website. Checks or money orders made payable to Live Up Art can also be sent to us at Live Up Art, Inc. PO Box 07036, Gary, IN 46407.  For your tax records, a donation receipt will be promptly sent to your attention.

Live Up Art is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to prepare youth to be the best that they can be by exposing them to the arts and help develop those skills that will help them make better lifetime decisions through our free programs.  Your support will enable Live Up Art to serve an even greater number of youth and working together, we will continue provide a safe learning environment for our most precious resource our youth.  Thank you for your help in making this goal a reality.
